Lukaku Will Go Out On Loan!

Romelu Lukaku’s agent has stated that the young Belgian will be going out on loan this season, and it will to a premier league club.

The agent stated that club is not Fulham, so the possible destinations would either be West Ham or Bolton in my opinion. West Ham have already been linked to the player and that option has been strengthened by their failure to secure a loan deal for Andy Carroll.

Regular football will keep him happy

Bolton would also appear to be a likely option as both Kakuta and Sturridge have been sent to Owen Coyle’s team for development in recent seasons.

Another option could be a promoted club like Southampton, who have already spent big a £6m striker Jay Rodriguez.

With Lukaku on the way out, Chelsea will be left with two recognized strikers, one of which is preferred on the wing. With Hulk seemingly too expensive, surely Chelsea will be attempting to buy another striker.

But who?

  1. I heard that its going to be West Brom. As long as he plays every week he will benefit from it.

  2. Yea so long as he plays every week. Poor old Josh at Swansea couldn’t get a game, What was the point in that?

I reckon we’ll get that Schurrle fella, he’s quality. If we wanted Moses that bad we’d already have him.

  3. Al, Bolton may be poised to return to the top flight this year but for now they are in the Championship. Wouldn’t that be almost counter-productive even if he were to be their preferred striker?

    • Ah of course the Championship. I had a niggle in my brain when I wrote Bolton in the premier league. But counter productive? They still play good football, they just couldn’t defend last year. A year in the championship may give Lukaku a season of 30 goals, and they ain’t so bad is it? I’d say the level of football is on par with the Belgian league, but I’ll preempt your reply and agree with you that it’s better if he joins a premier league team like West Brom or West Ham.

Oh and Josh to Sunderland looks likely know doesn’t it?

      • I suppose if he could score 30, it might be worthwhile but generally he should be able to be Messi-esque playing against some of those teams.

With all the midfield acquisitions, I’m surprised Josh didn’t go out almost immediately so he could try to earn a first team spot on whichever team.
