Well without wanting to make excuses, the ‘lack of urgency’ will be fixed when the league starts. Brighton are a team on the up, bit of investment, new ground etc and I’d be very surprised if they don’t mount a decent challenge for promotion and they would have gone all out to beat us. However, they aren’t there yet and what was meant to be a feel good thrashing to end Pre-Season turned out to be a bit of an embarrasment. On the positive, it’s a wake up call that our boys won’t be happy about and will want to fix, so it can only be a good thing. I never read too much into Pre-Season to be honest, or the community shield either (just cueing that one up for the weekend
).
Anyway, meh…not gonna worry about it, check out Drogs banging them in in China, gonna be missed, what a legend. Be glad we’re not seeing his signature celebration in a Real or PSG shirt.
Right, I’m off to watch the CL FInal again *sniff*.

Lets hope it’s just a blip before this weekends match. Although its not a big thing to win, I will be disappointed if we lose.
